About the role
- Facilitate client conversations to collect business requirements, write business requirement documents and test cases
- Perform minor system configuration, business analysis, data analysis, and UAT support
- Leverage embedded configuration tools to create workflow automation across the mortgage loan lifecycle
- Collaborate with clients, operations, and/or vendors to understand business requirements and convert them into documentation
- Support quality assurance and user acceptance testing; report bugs or defects
- Work with internal groups and outside vendors to ensure successful and quality project completion
- Document solutions that leverage the Mortgage Cadence Platform and other systems used by Visio operations teams
- Work closely with business users, developers, system analysts, PMO, product & strategy team, and senior operations leadership
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED equivalent
- 5 years of Business Analyst / Requirements Gathering experience
- 3 years of mortgage lending related experience
- Experience within Mortgage Originations, Sales Process, Loan Processing, Underwriting, Closing/funding, and post-closing in a business analyst capacity
- Experience with the Mortgage Cadence Platform
- Deep knowledge of the mortgage loan process, specifically within origination, processing, underwriting, closing/funding, and post-closing
- Ability to convert requirements into effective workflow design documentation
- Ability to work effectively across multiple cross-functional teams (operations, application development, product management, and vendor partnerships)
- Knowledge of SDLC lifecycles, such as Waterfall and Agile
- Ability to use standard office equipment: printer, scanner, copier, fax, telephone, personal computer, and other peripheral devices
- Internal Applicants: 6 months of Visio Lending work experience with no disciplinary actions within the last 3 months; current manager notification required to apply
