About the role
- Drive all wholesale and distribution network sales for a premier cannabis cultivator
- Craft innovative sales strategies and build new business accounts from the ground up
- Introduce the client's cannabis products to top-tier brands and expand market reach
- Leverage industry knowledge to educate brands on product benefits and variables
- Generate significant sales, negotiate deals, and close business with processing brands
- Maintain exceptional customer service and cultivate long-term professional relationships
- Weekly travel to Victorville area and ongoing field sales activities
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and a reliable personal vehicle for daily job functions
- 1+ years of experience in wholesale sales to cannabis processing brands
- A successful and active cannabis wholesale book of business
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel) or Google suite (Sheets, Drive, Calendar)
- Solid understanding of cannabis product variables (Distillate & CO2, Indoor & Outdoor, CBD/THC/Terpenes, etc.)
- Exceptional client relationship-building skills and superior written/verbal communication
- Ability to close deals, negotiate, and build lasting professional relationships
- Willingness to travel weekly to the Victorville area
- Preferred: In-depth understanding of California cannabis compliance laws
