About the role

  • Manage all sales activities within the assigned territory and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships to identify unmet needs and drive repeat business
  • Respond to customer enquiries and RFQs professionally and in a timely manner
  • Work with internal resources (workshops, technical support) to ensure customer needs are satisfied
  • Develop and implement regional sales plans to drive aftermarket and maintenance services growth
  • Track, record, and compile reports on pipeline, funnel and bookings using Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with Aftermarket sales team, marketing, and customer service to achieve sales objectives
  • Make presentations to clients and develop product solutions tailored to customer needs
  • Lead contract negotiations and finalize agreements with clients
  • Act as a brand ambassador at industry events and trade shows
  • Travel to client offices, production facilities, and industrial job sites as required
  • Complete safety training and wear Nikkiso approved PPE as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of an associate's degree; bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in account management, sales or business development relevant to cryogenic equipment, pumps or industrial rotating equipment
  • Proven track record of successfully growing sales and meeting targets
  • In-depth knowledge of sales principles, territory management and account management
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce) and sales reporting
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to discover and understand unmet client needs and develop aftermarket solutions
  • Technical proficiency to learn Nikkiso products, aftermarket and services solutions
  • Project management and time management skills; ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Professional English language proficiency; Spanish is a plus
  • Ability to travel to client sites, production facilities, or industrial/construction job sites
  • Ability to lift up to 42 lbs and perform physical tasks as described
  • Willingness to attend sales training, seminars, industry events and trade shows
  • Ability to use standard office equipment and software applications
