• Prepare, review and file accurate and timely tax returns, including income tax, sales tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
• Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision, including deferred taxes, tax account reconciliation and related analysis.
• Conduct tax research, monitor changes in tax legislation, and provide insights and recommendations.
• Assist in preparing and supporting tax audits, respond to tax inquiries, and collaborate with auditors and tax authorities as needed.
• Prepare and analyze tax reports, schedules, and reconciliations for internal and external reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls related to tax processes and assist in implementing improvements.
• Identify opportunities to streamline tax processes, enhance efficiency, and improve data accuracy.
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and business units, to address tax-related matters and provide tax guidance.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks, including potential tax exposures and compliance issues.
• Stay updated on changes in tax laws, regulations, and accounting standards to ensure compliance and provide valuable insights to the organization.
