About the role
- Drive adoption of Bumper Lifecycle and Bumper Ads across OEM programs where Vicimus and/or Bumper are already certified / recognized
- Build and maintain relationships with OEM regional managers, dealer development teams, and marketing contacts
- Leverage OEM endorsements and co-op programs to accelerate sales cycles and reduce friction
- Develop territory plans that prioritize high-value dealership groups and strategic accounts within each OEM network
- Conduct discovery and needs analysis with dealership GMs, marketing directors, and ownership groups
- Deliver compelling product demonstrations that align Bumper's capabilities with OEM programs and dealership goals
- Build consensus among multiple stakeholders (ownership, GM, marketing, BDC, service managers)
- Negotiate pricing, contract terms, and implementation timelines
- Manage pipeline and forecasting in HubSpot CRM with a focus on high-value, strategic opportunities
- Ensure successful onboarding and adoption through collaboration with Customer Success
- Identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts (additional locations, product upsells, group-level agreements)
- Act as the voice of OEM dealers to internal teams, providing feedback on product features, pricing, and positioning
- Build case studies and testimonials specific to each OEM network to support ongoing sales efforts
- Represent Vicimus at OEM-sponsored events, dealer meetings, and automotive conferences
- Stay informed on OEM initiatives, marketing programs, co-op funding structures, and competitive dynamics
- Network with dealer principals, 20 Groups, and automotive industry leaders to expand Vicimus's visibility
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of B2B software sales experience selling to automotive dealerships (This is essential - you must have a proven track record of selling technology or SaaS solutions into dealership environments)
- Deep understanding of automotive dealership operations, including marketing workflows, DMS systems, CRM platforms, and OEM relationships
- Demonstrated success navigating complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders and long decision timelines
- Strong relationship-building skills with dealership GMs, ownership groups, and OEM representatives
- Proficiency with CRM systems (HubSpot preferred) including opportunity management, pipeline forecasting, and activity tracking
- Exceptional presentation, communication, and negotiation skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly (up to 50%) for in-person meetings, dealer events, and OEM functions.
