About the role
- Provide Tier 1 technical support for end users (remote and on-site).
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and maintenance.
- Support user account creation, access permissions, and basic system administration.
- Document troubleshooting steps, solutions, and support activity.
- Possible assist with basic system updates, patches, and security monitoring.
- Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Requirements
- Knowledge of Apple Business Manager.
- Experience with Microsoft 365.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Surface hardware.
- Familiarity with Apple hardware.
- Basic understanding of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Effective communication skills and customer service mindset.
- Highly dependable and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be comfortable working as a 1099 contractor.
- Able to work approximately 5 hours per month and/or on-call as needed.
