About the role

  • Drive expansion of vHive's Energy business selling digital twin platform and inspection solutions to owners/operators of large-scale wind and solar farms
  • Own and manage the entire sales cycle from initial qualification and discovery through negotiation and closing
  • Actively identify and pursue new opportunities with owners and operators of large-scale wind and solar farms in Europe or North America
  • Uncover customer pain points and articulate specific technical and commercial solutions enabled by the vHive platform
  • Plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations and Proof of Value (POV) projects that differentiate vHive (including flying drones)
  • Stay on top of market trends and competitive dynamics and communicate insights to marketing and product teams
  • Lead the RFX proposal process and collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to meet customer needs
  • Inform product management and technical teams on market requirements and potential product adaptations
  • Travel frequently and engage directly with enterprise customers

Requirements

  • 5+ years of proven, direct sales experience within the renewable energy sector (wind or solar)
  • Track record of selling to large-scale enterprise customers
  • Deep understanding of the wind and solar farm ecosystem, including key stakeholders, asset management workflows, and operational challenges
  • Proven full sales cycle ownership: prospecting, qualification, discovery, negotiation, closing
  • Hunter mentality with results-driven approach and perseverance
  • Entrepreneurial, hands-on problem solving and ability to build trust with customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for a global, multi-cultural audience
  • Willingness to travel; based in Europe or North America near a major travel hub
  • Education: degree in engineering, finance, or economics preferred
  • Ability to plan and deliver hands-on product demonstrations and Proof of Value (POV) projects, including operating drones
