About the role
- Engage with prospective clients to understand technical environment, systems, workflows, pain points, and business challenges
- Conduct in-depth technical discovery and needs assessment with stakeholders including C-level and IT teams
- Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations for varied audiences
- Design and propose technical solutions and architectures integrating company software with client systems
- Assess feasibility and implementation risks for proposed solutions
- Lead or assist in configuring and managing Proofs of Concept (POCs) and pilot programs
- Contribute technical content to proposals, RFPs, RFIs, SOWs and other deal documentation
- Act as primary technical liaison during sales cycle and address technical objections
- Provide competitive technical analysis and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams
Requirements
- At least 10 years of experience
- At least 5 years in the Pre Sales field
- Academic degree in Engineering or related field
- Deep understanding of software development, architecture, cloud, APIs, and databases
- Strong technical aptitude with relevant industry technologies
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Consultative selling and discovery skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into ROI
- Ability to engage with C-level executives and IT decision-makers
- Experience designing technical solutions and architectures
- Experience leading/managing Proof of Concept (POC) and pilot programs
- Experience contributing to technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses
- Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services
