About the role

  • Engage with prospective clients to understand technical environment, systems, workflows, pain points, and business challenges
  • Conduct in-depth technical discovery and needs assessment with stakeholders including C-level and IT teams
  • Deliver tailored product demonstrations and technical presentations for varied audiences
  • Design and propose technical solutions and architectures integrating company software with client systems
  • Assess feasibility and implementation risks for proposed solutions
  • Lead or assist in configuring and managing Proofs of Concept (POCs) and pilot programs
  • Contribute technical content to proposals, RFPs, RFIs, SOWs and other deal documentation
  • Act as primary technical liaison during sales cycle and address technical objections
  • Provide competitive technical analysis and market feedback to Product and Engineering teams

Requirements

  • At least 10 years of experience
  • At least 5 years in the Pre Sales field
  • Academic degree in Engineering or related field
  • Deep understanding of software development, architecture, cloud, APIs, and databases
  • Strong technical aptitude with relevant industry technologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Consultative selling and discovery skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into ROI
  • Ability to engage with C-level executives and IT decision-makers
  • Experience designing technical solutions and architectures
  • Experience leading/managing Proof of Concept (POC) and pilot programs
  • Experience contributing to technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Sales, Product, Engineering, Professional Services
