Manager

• Serve as the business owner for the MyCartilageCare® program, ensuring alignment with Vericel's patient access, reimbursement, and commercial objectives.
• Continuously evaluate program performance and identify opportunities to improve the patient, provider, and customer experience.
• Develop and implement process improvements that simplify workflows, improve operational efficiency, and support commercial growth.
• Identify opportunities to leverage technology, automation, and standardization to enhance program performance.
• Lead implementation of approved program enhancements and operational initiatives.
• Develop business cases and recommendations supporting future program improvements.
• Establish, monitor, and continuously refine program Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and operational scorecards.
• Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate vendor performance, responsiveness, quality, productivity, customer satisfaction, and overall program effectiveness.
• Hold the vendor accountable for contractual commitments, operational expectations, and continuous improvement objectives.
• Partner with vendor leadership to identify innovative solutions that improve patient access, reimbursement support, case management, and provider experience.
• Review, approve, and monitor program invoices and contractual deliverables.
• Develop meaningful dashboards, scorecards, and performance metrics that measure program effectiveness and business impact.
• Analyze patient access, reimbursement, case management, provider support, and operational performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
• Translate data into actionable business recommendations for senior leadership.
• Develop and present quarterly and annual program performance reviews.
• Support strategic planning through forecasting, performance analysis, and business insights.
• Partner closely with Sales, Commercial Operations, Marketing, Finance, Medical Affairs, and the patient services organization to optimize program performance.

Manager, Market Access

Clinical Trial Associate

• Actively engages in site management activities, including assisting with site regulatory startup (including ICF review), providing oversight for site-level IRB submissions, managing site communications, and conducting onsite or remote investigator site file (ISF) reviews.
• Leads meeting coordination activities, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and documenting key decisions and action items.
• Provides support for site training by presenting GCP/GDP requirements, study-specific logs, and ISF expectations to ensure alignment with protocol and regulatory requirements.
• Supports coordination of Investigational Products (IP), focusing on the documentation and tracking.
• Tracks and reports on key study metrics (e.g., regulatory package status, TMF accuracy/completeness/quality, site statuses) and provides regular updates to leadership with proposed mitigation strategies.
• Supports inspection readiness and audit preparation by conducting internal reviews, preparing team members, and participating in mock audits to ensure a continuous state of readiness.
• Maintain and organize TMF, including identifying and resolving TMF gaps, ensuring documents are complete, accurate and inspection ready.
• Contributes or authors key study documents, including Informed Consent Form (ICF)/Assent, study plans, and study-related templates.
• Supports CRAs in monitoring visit execution by performing eISF reviews and providing TMF vs ISF reports to ensure completeness.
• Manages day-to-day interactions and deliverables for third-party vendors (e.g., central labs, imaging) to ensure adherence to study timelines.
• Reviews vendor-specific documentation for accuracy and ensures relevant records are filed in the TMF.
• Contributes to departmental operations and process improvements, including SOP authorship, development of templates and tools, and optimization of systems.
• Maintains and supports clinical systems (e.g., CTMS, Smartsheet) ensuring accuracy of metrics.
• Oversees study training compliance by developing and maintaining study training matrixes and curriculum maintenance.
• Manages Central IRB activities across programs, including submission oversight, tracking approvals, and maintaining cross-functional IRB trackers.
• Performs contractual management, PO management, invoice tracking, and site payments.
• Performs Protocol Deviation management, data review, medical review committee submission management, and ClinicalTrials.gov maintenance.
• Coordinates planning for Investigator Meetings and specialized Surgeon Training.

Account Manager

• Execute a targeted sales strategy to increase MACI adoption across hospitals and surgical centers.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with orthopedic surgeons, sports medicine specialists, and hospital administrators.
• Identify new business opportunities and execute plans to drive revenue and expand market share.
• Provide technical education and product training to healthcare providers and surgical teams.
• Attend surgical procedures to offer real-time support and guidance on MACI implantation.
• Use data-driven insights to track performance, identify trends, and adapt strategies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, medical affairs, and reimbursement teams to enhance market success.
• Represent Vericel at medical conferences, industry events, and physician training programs.
