Accounting Manager

• Responsible for leading the month end close process and drive accurate and timely financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Work cross-functionally with leaders across the company to ensure the close is completed timely
• Oversee accounting issues, streamline process, enhance accounting systems and develop controls
• Review journal entries and account reconciliations
• Regular review and analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
• Drive the timely completion of the annual audit.
• Act as a primary point of contact throughout the audit process
• Oversight of the accounts payable team and workstream
• Oversee accounting and technical matters related to investments, leases, equity, stock compensation and any other complex areas.
• Oversee the preparation and analysis of the consolidation including the balance sheet, income statement and cash flow statements.
• Research various technical accounting matters, conclude on the proper U.S. GAAP treatment
• Develop, document and maintain accounting policies, including updating or developing new policies to ensure consistency and compliance with GAAP and other reporting requirements.
• Provide ongoing training of Company’s accounting policies.
• Recommend and assist in the implementation of process improvements including automation within the ERP and other tools where possible.
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
• Ad hoc projects as needed.

Technical Program Manager

• Lead the planning, execution, and governance of enterprise IT programs, ensuring delivery of new capabilities aligned to business priorities and evolving organizational needs.
• Develop and maintain program roadmaps and integrated plans, including scope, timelines, dependencies, resources, and financials across multiple initiatives.
• Establish and continuously improve IT PMO governance frameworks, standards, methodologies, and performance metrics to enable consistent and effective program delivery.
• Partner with business and cross-functional stakeholders to define program objectives, scope, and success criteria, and drive alignment and decision-making throughout execution.
• Oversee end-to-end program delivery, including requirements, design, implementation, validation, and change management, providing governance and oversight across initiatives led by internal and external project managers, and stepping in to directly manage projects as needed to ensure delivery and operational readiness.
• Manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, providing clear communication, status reporting, and executive-level insights to support timely decisions.

IT Program Manager

Director

• Leads and serves as the primary Quality partner with Analytical Development to support the move of test methods out of the development space and into the GMP space, lifecycle aspects of test methods over time, and provides final review/approval of qualification activities into QC.
• Owns and drives changes in the analytical control strategy and test methods over time, as well as the execution of the validation strategy for test methods.
• Oversees and ensures execution of method monitoring, including creation, implementation, and routine execution of this program over time.
• Acts as the primary quality control approver for test methods, qualification, and validation activities (including but not limited to protocols and reports, qualification/validation investigations, and others).
• Leads, coaches, and develops direct reports to evaluate and execute continuous improvement, strengthen their skill sets, and foster an environment of continuous learning, improvement, and innovation.
• Establishes, monitors, and communicates team performance metrics, setting clear expectations and accountability for high performance.
• Oversees and drives staff scheduling to meet workflow demands and manages resources and expenditures to ensure alignment with budget expectations and prevent overruns.
• Drives and maintains harmonization of approach across program teams (analytical specifications, analytical method lifecycle).
• Represents and leads Quality Control engagement on various teams across Vericel by responding to new requests and integrating with SMEs across functional areas, including manufacturing operations, method lifecycle, process validation, material specifications, batch analysis, stability, and reference standards, and ensures alignment of information across stakeholders.
• Partners cross-functionally with Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Process, and Analytical Development.
• Authors and revises SOPs for managerial review and approval and creates new documentation where appropriate.

Events

• Assist with coordination of Vericel’s participation in national and regional events supporting Sports Medicine and Burn Care franchises.
• Support planning and execution of internal and external meetings, including food & beverage, audio/visual, travel, and accommodations.
• Assist with logistics for internal trainings, sales meetings, and office events.
• Partner with Training and Sales Operations to support in-person training coordination.
• Help maintain and track event calendars and logistics in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Support coordination of professional (KOL) and advocacy-related events.
• Assist with on-site event execution as needed.
• Help track event metrics and support reporting efforts.
