About the role
- Supporting the sales team with demos and trials on challenging applications.
- Serving as the technical champion for new product launches and the existing suite of products and solutions.
- Performing advanced troubleshooting for customers across key verticals.
- Delivering direct training (onsite or remote), and leading the development of training and support tools leveraging new technologies.
- Collaborating closely with Engineering to influence product research and development with specialized expertise.
- Representing X-Rite at trade shows, industry conferences, and training seminars to enhance the company’s technical presence.
- Traveling approximately 70% of the time across North America.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited college preferred.
- Six to ten years of experience applying color matching in the paint and plastics manufacturing industries.
- Familiarity with color management and formulation, instruments, and software like those X-Rite manufactures is strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to independently plan and execute projects as a technical leader.
- Proficiency with PC applications and Macintosh OS for certain industry applications.
