• Research, develop, and write copy for various forms of content, including web pages, blog articles, email, advertisements, video scripts, e-books, case studies, Q&A, customer spotlights, calls to action (CTAs), and so on
• Attend and participate in meetings around content strategy, brainstorming, optimization, and more
• Attend and participate in annual Marketing Department offsite and bi-monthly team builders
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines to ensure content requests are fulfilled in a timely manner
• Collaborate with product marketing managers, creatives, SEO, designers, and other teammates to conceptualize, create, and publish compelling copy that drives our audience to act
• Build a strong understanding of effective SEO and AEO content marketing best practices
• Leverage AI tools to support content research, drafting, ideation, and workflow efficiency – while maintaining brand voice, editorial standards, and content quality
• Edit and proof copy to ensure it is error-free and aligns with the brand voice, point of view, and style of various insurance products
• Adapt writing style to various audiences and build a strong understanding of specific target audiences and customer personas
• Complete required insurance product training (including insurance licensing and internal training) and stay up to date on our product offerings
• Incorporate feedback and edits into content
• Effectively optimize content for search, conversions, and user navigation
• Request creative assets (e.g., imagery, original graphics, infographics, downloadables, etc.)
• Accurately input, format, and publish blog posts in WordPress
• Participate in peer editing and Content Team initiatives, including special projects or “all hands” content needs
• Conduct research internally and with customers as needed
• Perform research and collect and analyze data using GA4, Search Console, Semrush, Ahrefs, and other tools

Operations

• Oversee, mentor, and develop the Retail account manager teams, fostering a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Provide consistent coaching and feedback to optimize team performance, reinforce achievements, and address areas for improvement – leading the development and execution of best practices in sales methodologies, processes, and customer engagement
• Develop and execute strategic plans for the Retail LOB, aligning with organizational revenue goals and operational objectives – including actionable insights, business cases for new opportunities, and strategic input into product planning and go-to-market strategies
• Set clear performance expectations, monitor team performance, and implement training or coaching programs to enhance skills and productivity – tracking success against KPIs measured quarterly and annually
• Lead the Retail LOB through process improvements, technology integrations, and organizational changes, ensuring team adoption and alignment while leveraging data analytics to identify trends and inform decision-making
• Collaborate with Marketing for demand generation and customer campaigns, CRM Systems Administration for tool optimization, Program and Product Managers for market alignment, and Underwriters for risk assessment and product development
• Identify inefficiencies in sales and account management workflows and implement solutions to streamline operations and enhance the customer experience
• Serve as an advocate for your team by partnering with data, systems, programs, underwriting, and learning development teams to build cases for continued education, streamlined workflows, and accurate data tracking that drives team success
• Leverage CRM data and analytics to identify trends, forecast performance, and drive informed strategic decisions – maintaining or improving NPS and other customer satisfaction metrics for Retail LOB clients
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment on Retail LOB objectives and cross-functional initiatives

• Define coverage standards and market approach for each class of business within your product family
• Serve as the final technical reference for complex risk placement, carrier selection, and coverage questions across the retail channel
• Identify coverage gaps and completion needs across our customer base and develop strategies to address them
• Review product materials, agent-facing content, and marketing collateral for regulatory accuracy and E&O exposure before distribution
• Monitor changes in carrier guidelines and market standards that affect your product family and ensure distribution practices remain compliant
• Serve as the internal compliance voice for your product family in cross-functional conversations
• Serve as the primary on-demand technical resource for the agent channel – the person agents reach when a risk is unfamiliar or a placement is complex
• Develop training programs, proficiency benchmarks, and reference tools that elevate agent performance across your product family
• Build the knowledge frameworks that our AI and technology team will use to create scalable agent support tools

Commercial Lines Practice Lead

Sales

• Establish and reinforce sales expectations, KPIs, accountability standards, and performance goals across both the Producer and Account Management teams
• Review pipelines, close ratios, lead response times, conversion rates, revenue performance, and related operational metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
• Coach Producers on consultative selling, objection handling, discovery conversations, and value-based selling – and coach Account Managers on retention, coverage accuracy, client relationship management, and account rounding
• Provide technical guidance on commercial insurance coverages, underwriting requirements, policy structures, and market placement considerations across both teams
• Clearly explain coverage concepts to Producers, Account Managers, and customers as needed, and identify coverage gaps with coaching on how to address them appropriately
