About the role
- Own customer acquisition, conversion and retention performance for the market, with clear accountability for revenue and profitability.
- Define, execute and continuously optimise the market strategy across CRM and acquisition channels.
- Manage the full marketing lifecycle for the market, including CRM, acquisition, media buying and affiliate partnerships, ensuring efficient use of budgets and strong ROI.
- Own market budgets, forecasts and business plans, including ongoing financial tracking, variance analysis and performance reporting.
- Take responsibility for annual budget planning and regular financial updates in collaboration with Finance.
- Work closely with Product teams to support market-specific requirements across casino, live casino, sportsbook and related verticals, including localisation, promotions and product performance optimisation.
- Monitor product and competitor performance, providing regular market insights and recommendations.
- Coordinate with Operations teams (Customer Support, VIP, Payments where relevant) to ensure a consistent, high-quality local player experience.
- Support and align VIP and customer lifecycle strategies to maximise player value and retention.
- Collaborate with other Country Managers to share best practices and optimise cross-market synergies.
Requirements
- Experience as a Country Manager or similar role within iGaming/Online Casino
- Previous product, acquisition or country manager experience with the focus on required market
- In-depth knowledge and experience operating in the local market
- Ability to analyze data, act quickly, and drive change to achieve goals and targets
- Strong commercial acumen
- Excellent networking and influencing skills
- A proactive leader who leads by example
- Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones
