About the role

  • Support and manage the intake process of new products and services.
  • Analyze and evaluate product information, technical requirements, feasibility, and integration.
  • Capture requirements, size requests, and support prioritization of new product requests.
  • Conduct impact analysis, identify risks and dependencies, and understand the organization’s product set.
  • Review and assess product information from development teams, solution architects, vendors and other stakeholders.
  • Analyze market trends and consumer demand to determine potential success of new products.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including product, development, infrastructure and sales to coordinate intake process.
  • Adhere to standard timeframes to complete new product request analysis.
  • Ensure regulatory and compliance requirements are met for each new product or service.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and manage KPIs; monitor and track progress and provide routine updates to stakeholders.
  • Report periodically to senior leadership on organizational trends and initiatives.
  • Establish relationships with key strategic vendors including processing platforms and possess thorough knowledge of processing platforms and interdependencies.
  • Identify opportunities to improve intake process efficiency and transparency.
  • Facilitate Client Contract Request facilitation and work with Pricing, Product and Sales on market and pricing analysis.
  • Capture detailed requirements for business cases, including scope, impacted systems, financial model, client impact, capacity planning and organizational value.
  • Support execution of Phase 1: Initiation efforts for the company’s commercialization process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
  • Five (5) years experience in Business Analysis required (product, enterprise, data, business process, reporting, system, stakeholder or related experience).
  • Three (3) years of payments processing or financial service experience preferred.
  • Experience with User Experience and Product Design preferred.
  • Ability to manage and lead large cross-functional teams to reach established timelines and milestones.
  • Ability to plan, track and control projects in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Understanding the concepts of project prioritizations, impact, and risk assessment.
  • Thorough understanding of card payment industry, various processing systems, and/or related in-house applications.
  • Proficiency in word processing and spreadsheet computer software applications.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of materials handled.
  • Ability to be flexible and work under high pressure in a complex environment.
