About the role
- Manage and grow a portfolio of Focus Partners across the West region
- Drive pipeline creation and revenue growth through partner-led motions
- Identify and execute upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing install base
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key partner stakeholders and sales teams
- Develop, execute, and track joint business and action plans with partners
- Identify opportunities using tools such as Expansion IQ and align with internal sales teams
- Collaborate cross-functionally with ISRs, Field Sellers, SEs, and Distribution to progress opportunities
- Support partners with quoting, licensing, product positioning, and deal strategy
- Drive partner engagement through trainings, webinars, and in-person sessions
- Ensure alignment with the Veeam ProPartner Program, including certifications, compliance, and tier growth
- Maintain accurate forecasting, pipeline tracking, and CRM (Salesforce) hygiene
- Keep partners informed on Veeam messaging, promotions, and go-to-market initiatives
- Travel to partner sites and events to strengthen relationships and accelerate business
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or high-volume/velocity sales
- Strong understanding of the channel ecosystem and partner-led sales motions
- Proven ability to build pipeline and drive revenue through partners
- Experience identifying and executing upsell and cross-sell strategies
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across technical and business audiences
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational skills with attention to forecasting and pipeline management
- Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Knowledge of data protection, cloud, or virtualization technologies is a plus
