About the role
- Design, develop and test features related to Kasten by Veeam's product K10 in the area of cloud native backup and disaster recovery
- Preparation of design documents and conduct design reviews with the team
- Preparation of test plans for testing features and present the test plan to the team
- Design and development of CI/CD test pipelines meant for testing features
- Participate in onboarding with the UR team and attend professional development, networking, and social events provided by the Internship Program
- 10-week summer internship (June–August 2026)
Requirements
- Rising Junior or Senior pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Interest in developing, testing, and debugging production-quality, scalable, multithreaded, concurrent systems
- Interest in distributed systems, concepts and client-server architectures
- Strong computer science fundamentals (data structures, algorithms, and concurrency)
- Passionate about code quality, extensibility, coding standards, testing, and automation
- Impact and result-driven
- Nice to have: Interest in developing in Go
- Nice to have: Interest in databases and/or storage systems - especially in the public cloud
- Nice to have: Interest in developing for and on containers, container scheduler, and orchestration platforms
- Nice to have: Interest in participating and contributing to open source
