About the role
- Build new features for the REST API and data processing engine using Typescript and Python/Spark, and deployed on AWS.
- Work alongside senior developers, architects, and QA team to implement new features and enhancements.
- Mentor junior team developers and perform code reviews to ensure a high-quality codebase.
- Contribute to improving the performance and scalability of our platform.
- Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies like Terraform and Serverless Framework.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in software development roles, with a focus on backend development
- Proficiency in at least one backend language (preferably Python and/or Typescript)
- Familiarity with AWS services (e.g. EC2, EKS, S3, Lambda, RDS, Step Functions, DDB etc.)
- Experience with large data processing and application scalability using tools like Apache Spark and Kubernetes
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code
- English communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. B2 level English or higher is required.
