About the role

Build new features for the REST API and enhance the AWS infrastructure on top of a modern tech stack using C# and AWS CloudFormation.
Work with product management, designers, and QA team to implement new features and enhancements.
Participate as a reviewer in our pull request review process, ensuring high code quality and providing valuable insights to team members.
Optimize application performance, ensuring scalability and low latency across large datasets.
Develop features using AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, and Redshift.
Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks, ensuring high availability and uptime.
Learn the development process, codebase, coding standards and tools; complete small tasks and bug fixes; and progressively take on more complex assignments.
Adhere to coding standards, produce well-documented and maintainable code, and participate in code reviews.
Lead development of larger features or services, ensure scalability and reliability, meet project deadlines, and contribute to roadmap and cost estimation discussions.

7+ years of backend development experience, with a focus on data-intensive applications.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Java, C++).
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift).
Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and challenges in handling large-scale data.
Understanding of Software Design fundamentals.
Problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
English communication skills and ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. B2 level English or higher is required.
Ability to adjust working hours to align with Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours.
