About the role

Build new features for the REST API and enhance AWS infrastructure using C# and AWS CloudFormation.
Work with product management, designers, and QA to implement new features and enhancements.
Participate in pull request reviews to ensure high code quality and provide technical feedback.
Optimize application performance to ensure scalability and low latency across large datasets.
Develop features using AWS tools such as Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, Redshift (and RDS).
Automate deployments and CI/CD pipelines using Infrastructure-as-Code technologies.
Identify and resolve bottlenecks to ensure high availability and uptime.
Learn the codebase, processes and tools; complete small tasks and progress to leading larger features or services.
Troubleshoot and resolve defects with decreasing supervision; adhere to coding standards and produce maintainable documentation.
Participate in roadmap discussions, cost estimation, and continuous improvement of development processes.

7+ years of backend development experience, with a focus on data-intensive applications.
Proficiency in at least one backend language (e.g., C#, Java, C++).
Experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, Redshift).
Understanding of ELT/ETL processes and challenges in handling large-scale data.
Understanding of Software Design fundamentals.
Problem-solving skills and a passion for clean, maintainable code.
English communication skills: B2 level or higher required.
Ability to work within Eastern Standard Time (EST) business hours or adjust working hours for collaboration.
