About the role
- Reporting to the VP of Performance Solutions, Industrial Sales Manager is responsible for sales and gross margin growth of assigned segments, customers, and territories.
- Develop account strategies, manage key accounts and contribute to business strategy and financial success.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans for the Performance Solutions’ Industrial business and grow new business aligned with long-term vision.
- Travel extensively; support North America; near a major airport.
- Manage opportunities, CRM usage, forecasting, and quarterly presentations.
- Build and train distribution networks where applicable; provide feedback on product performance and opportunities.
- Attend industry events and trade shows; stay informed on industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, business or related sciences is preferred.
- 5+ years of relationship-building experience with key decision-makers in non-ionics surfactants, alkoxylates or esters markets; 7–10 years preferred.
- Proven track record in sales and new business development within oxide (ethylene oxide, propylene oxide, alkoxylates and derivatives produced from these chemistries) or ester (polyethylene glycol) markets.
- Technical proficiency and knowledge of industry trends; product portfolio familiarity.
- Financial acumen with EBITDA/OR CM responsibility.
- Strong time management, prioritization, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency with CRM and MS Office; strong presentation skills.
- Ability to develop strategic account plans and manage distribution networks where applicable.
