About the role

  • Oversee the overall site operations at North American campuses
  • Manage a team of directors and facility engineers
  • Ensure exceptional service and 100% uptime across the portfolio
  • Drive continuous improvement by measuring metrics and KPIs
  • Collaborate with Design, Engineering, and Construction teams to optimize construction costs
  • Protect and improve the value of assets by ensuring machinery and systems meet or exceed life spans
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving service issues
  • Drive the development and implementation of improved standards for maintenance and budgeting
  • Build high-performing site operations teams through engagement and trust

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum of 10-15 years of progressive experience in site operations or facilities management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
  • Proven experience in the data center industry or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of building systems and machinery, with the ability to recognize performance deficiencies and respond to operational and emergency situations
  • Demonstrated expertise in reliability engineering and project management
  • Proficiency in operations management software and systems
  • Consistent track record of excellent internal and external customer service
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and building automation systems
