About the role
- Lead the strategic development and execution of comprehensive energy solutions for hyperscale data centers
- Develop and execute energy projects from inception through delivery
- Oversee feasibility studies for distributed energy resources, microgrids, and resiliency solutions
- Negotiate utility agreements, PPAs, and other commercial models
- Serve as the primary point of contact for utilities, regulators, and technology partners
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of onsite assets
- Evaluate emerging technologies to support corporate sustainability objectives
- Provide executive-level reporting on project progress, risks, and compliance with regulatory requirements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 10+ years in energy infrastructure development, including onsite generation or distributed energy projects
- Expertise in utility processes and distributed generation technologies
- Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Ability to manage complex projects under tight timelines
- Travel required up to 40% but may increase over time as the business evolves.
