The Marketing Manager will play a central role in building the brand, visibility, and community engagement for Dialogue Vanderbilt.
The ideal candidate is a creative, hands-on marketer who thrives in collaborative settings, has strong attention to detail, and is excited about building community through storytelling and experiences.
Marketing Communications: Manage and execute marketing communications for Dialogue Vanderbilt, including annual and seasonal marketing calendar and messaging, newsletters, event campaigns, social media, presentations, and other collateral.
Event Promotion & Marketing: Lead promotion and communications for events and programs, ensuring broad awareness and strong engagement.
Community Management: Manage and grow the Dialogue Vanderbilt community through CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and digital engagement tools; segment and track audiences to drive participation and retention.
Student Partnership: Collaborate with students on marketing needs and help amplify their voices and initiatives.
Analytics & Reporting: Monitor, analyze, and report on marketing performance using CRM analytics, Google Analytics, and social dashboards; use insights to refine strategies.
Cross-Campus Collaboration: Partner with Vanderbilt’s central Marcom team and school-based marketing teams to align strategy, leverage resources, and expand reach.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, advertising, business administration or related field.
3-5 years of experience working in a marketing department or agency environment.
Exceptional creative sensibility and passion for developing compelling, human-centered experiences and stories.
Proficiency with CRM and email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp, HubSpot) and community management tools. In using the tools advertisement related analytics.
Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends, with ability to adapt content for diverse audiences.
Familiarity with basic analytics tools (Google Analytics, social dashboards) to evaluate and optimize campaigns.
Ability to work across teams, partner with students, and contribute to a dynamic, fast-moving environment.
