About the role
- Write music, movie, and TV streaming coverage for How-To Geek and sister sites
- Write consistently and meet assigned deadlines
- Be assigned articles and claim or pitch ideas
- Stay up to date on the latest entertainment and streaming news
- Work within a CMS, adhere to style guidelines, and find/format images
- Cover a range of streaming platforms and devices (Spotify, Netflix, etc.)
Requirements
- Relevant experience in writing and editing
- Expert knowledge of entertainment apps and devices, with specific expertise in music and TV streaming services (including Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music Unlimited, Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, etc.)
- Extensive experience using several streaming platforms
- Ability to work within a CMS and adhere to style guidelines
- Ability to find and format images
- Application materials required: CV, Cover Letter addressing specified questions, links to previously published work (streaming/entertainment content mandatory)
