About the role
- Leading Indirect procurement operations, development, strategy and supply base for North America Area
- Contribute to Procurement transformation by optimizing footprint and strengthening cost-competitiveness and efficiency of Valmet’s indirect procurement operation ensuring stakeholder and internal customer needs are met
- Be a member of the Indirect Procurement Leadership team
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain mgmt. or related field, with extensive experience in Indirect procurement organization
- 7+ years of experience in Indirect Procurement with 3+ of managerial roles, preferably in the context of global industrial manufacturing.
- Expertise in procurement excellence and development, with a proven track record in driving supplier negotiations, cost efficient procurement and strategic initiatives
