About the role
- Coordinate and drive PKI initiatives, including planning, execution, and oversight of mission-critical security programs.
- Create and lead technical working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPTs).
- Conduct and support internal Non-Personal Entity (NPE) audits.
- Develop comprehensive project documentation to support governance, compliance, and accreditation requirements.
- Participate in cryptographic key generation ceremonies to establish proper Level of Assurance.
- Work closely with government stakeholders, vendors, and service providers to develop technical solutions.
- Analyze user needs to determine functional and cross-functional requirements.
- Provide input to project and program leads to identify required tasks and resources.
- Represent the Government Client in internal Agency meetings/work groups and external work groups if needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Active DoD Secret clearance – required; Top Secret clearance - preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), Identity and Access Management (IAM), and/or Cybersecurity
- PKI and Policy experience (design, implementation, and lifecycle management) - required
- Knowledge of Federal-level PKI-related policy and standards (e.g., FIPS 201, NIST SP 800-63, DoD PKI policy)
- Demonstrated experience managing PKI and certificate services projects in large-scale, mission-critical environments
- Hands-on experience with certificate lifecycle management and key management
- Familiarity with DoD and Federal identity, credential, and access management (ICAM) frameworks
- Familiarity with DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and Assessment & Authorization (A&A) processes
