About the role
- Lead the development and implementation of detailed engineering circuit (both digital and analogue) plans
- Ensure plans meet DoD standards, procedures, security, and regulation requirements
- Conduct on-going testing and troubleshooting of issues to ensure availability and functionality to the end user
- Ensure all work meets Information Management Operation and ITSM standards
- Act as Subject Matter Expert, staying current with best practices and emerging technologies and recommending continuous improvements
- Present to leadership and stakeholders, translating complex technical information for non-technical audiences
- Provide regular reports and analysis to leadership and stakeholders
- Collaborate with other IT departments to ensure seamless implementation of new circuit layouts and enhancements with other IT functionality
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in creating engineering circuit layout diagrams, digital and analogue circuit design and implementation, analysis testing and troubleshooting circuits
- Experience with help desk support and operations
- 5+ years of experience working in a secured government environment
- Knowledge of IP and optical network operations
- Knowledge of DoD network and system security requirements
- Knowledge of networking and network-based software applications utilized in a DoD IT environment
- Experience utilizing monitoring tools to provide both reactive and proactive support for client network and systems infrastructure
- Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and ITSM best practices
- Strong oral and written communication skills with proven ability to influence leadership and stakeholders
- Must have a current TS/SCI clearance
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in a related field
