Maintain prime power systems (transformer vaults to distribution boards).
Operate and maintain diesel-electric generators, ensuring fuel supply and availability.
Provide compliance inspections in accordance with CEI 64/08 prescriptions.
Operate and maintain UPS, batteries, and emergency lighting.
Perform preventive maintenance on cross-site cabling, grounding, lightning protection, radomes, EMP pneumatic doors, and hydraulic systems.
Provide basic maintenance of site security systems (gates, bollards, access infrastructure).
Provide maintenance of HVAC, heating, air handling units, and fire protection systems.
Collaborate with industry providers for contracted services under Site Engineer oversight.
Maintain accurate service records in TT-Comms, ITSM, and site logbooks.
Provide monthly status reports on maintenance, incidents, and improvements.
Support Site Engineers in planning, scheduling, and executing maintenance activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a related field and 5 years technical experience.
Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in power systems maintenance and troubleshooting.
Expertise in power distribution systems, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) units, and generators.
Proficiency in monitoring and maintaining equipment such as rectifiers, inverters, and RF amplifiers, with working knowledge of remote telemetry and control systems.
Experience ensuring compliance with safety standards, preventive maintenance schedules, and technical documentation for classified or mission-critical operations.
Familiarity with DoD power system standards, STIG compliance for infrastructure components, and audit support for operational readiness.
An active security clearance at NATO Secret level is required at the time of application.
