About the role
- Provide experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations.
- Participate in the design of software tools and subsystems to support reuse and domain analysis.
- Assist in the management, development, testing, and maintenance of computer programs to ensure user requirements are met.
- Collaborate with systems analysts and designers to research and document computer user requirements.
- Analyze objectives and problems identified by analysts and designers and translate solutions into detailed program specifications.
- Prepare documentation for other programmers, users, and support staff.
- Support program design activities including definition of data structures and error message arrangements.
- Modify and document program code to correct errors or enhance application capabilities.
- Support application testing and prepare reports on the status, operation, and maintenance of system software applications.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
- 8+ years of relevant experience
- Experience and knowledge of sustainment lifecycle management activities for programs and project operations
- Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority
- Must possess IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive security clearance or Tier 3 (T3)
