About the role

  • Serve as the front line Business Development Manager for VALD in Quebec City.
  • Attend conferences and perform product demonstrations in-person and via teleconference in clinical, performance, and tactical settings.
  • Set up and oversee product trials and nurture new leads to identify new opportunities.
  • Use an education-based sales approach and maintain intimate knowledge of VALD systems to demonstrate client value.
  • Leverage industry expertise to communicate product and industry knowledge and persuade clients.
  • Manage and nurture distributor relationships and pursue sales targets.
  • Travel for client meetings and represent VALD at industry events.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in a clinical or allied health setting (e.g., physiotherapist/physical therapist) or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills across team calls, in-person interactions, and sales pipeline reporting.
  • Comfortable targeting new clients and generating leads.
  • Willing and able to travel for client meetings and represent VALD at industry conferences and events.
  • Confidence to persuasively demonstrate VALD systems and communicate product and industry knowledge to clients.
  • Self-starter with accountability for reaching sales targets.
  • Desire to work with and nurture existing distributor relationships.
  • Prior experience using CRMs and the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products.
  • Must reside in Quebec City, QC.
  • Fluent in both written and spoken French.
