About the role

  • Provide engineering support within a plant manufacturing environment for one or two terms
  • Assist with the planning and implementation of capital projects to improve employee safety, production efficiencies or product quality
  • Work in a hands-on role to gain a broad view of manufacturing and exposure to multi-disciplinary work at various stages of projects
  • Complete real assignments with high visibility and responsibility that impact the facility
  • Collaborate with plant teams to execute capital and improvement projects

Requirements

  • Students must have completed at least the first term of their sophomore year in school to be eligible
  • Co-op students must be pursuing an engineering degree in one of the following disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Civil, Industrial or Engineering Management
  • Minimum GPA of 2.75 required
  • Applicants must be able to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
  • Ability to work at USG manufacturing locations across the U.S.
