Analyst

• Work within Compliance Department on various pre-funding and post-closing Quality Control (QC) audits
• Conduct daily mortgage file audits and provide important and timely feedback to the operation staff
• Prevent mortgage loans from closing with significant defects such as misrepresentation, inaccurate data, and/or inadequate documentation
• Work with third-party post-fund QC vendor, reviewing and remediating deficiencies identified by the vendor
• Communicate deficiencies to the appropriate parties and facilitate corrective action
• Provide recommendations regarding deficiencies and identify training needs for various roles within the Company
• Perform pre-funding QC audits of loans final underwriting approved, but not yet closed
• Review and remediate audit findings from third-party QC vendor
• Summarize and log audit findings in the QC System for reporting purposes
• Participate in the development of future enhancements to the loan audit process
• Conduct vendor sampling audits of third-party QC vendor
• Other compliance related assignments as required for agency/regulatory compliance.
