About the role
- Lead the development and execution of LP security teams
- Collaborate with operations partners to drive safety execution and foster a culture of security
- Conduct monthly audits and investigate shrink anomalies/dishonest employee behaviors
- Manage security operations across multiple units, including after-hours responsibilities
- Perform LP system duties, including burglar alarm, CCTV and access control
- Provide employees with escorts to vehicles as requested
- Respond to complex and general emergency events as required; de-escalating incidents
- Interacting with local emergency agencies
- Maintain an accurate access control database
- Build a strong rapport with other support departments
- Able to work an flex schedule as needed to support home office needs
Requirements
- High School Degree or GED required
- 1-2 years of loss prevention, security, or safety experience
- preferred with first aid/ CPR/ AED training
- Strong analytical and computer skills
- Working knowledge of security equipment preferred (CCTV, alarm systems, and access control)
- Must be able to understand written and oral directions in English
- Must be able to write in English
