About the role

Provide 3rd line escalation support and solutions to complex technical issues.
Develop, test, and maintain bespoke custom scripts to address customer requirements.
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues related to platform infrastructure and performance.
Document processes, solutions, and best practices to support team knowledge sharing.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance service offerings.
Collaborate with cross functional teams, including Support and Development, to implement solutions.

SQL Fundamentals: Basic understanding of SQL and experience with any relational database.
Familiarity with PostgreSQL is a bonus, but candidates with experience in other SQL systems and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.
Exposure to scripting or programming languages. Experience with Perl is helpful, but not required — candidates with Python, JavaScript, or similar languages who are comfortable learning new tools will thrive.
Ability to write simple scripts or automate small tasks.
Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset, with a methodical approach to diagnosing issues.
Ability to manage and prioritise tickets effectively, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
Clear and thorough documentation of troubleshooting steps, solutions, and best practices.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
