General Counsel

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements such as supply contracts, distribution agreements, service provider agreements, NDAs, LOIs, and inter-company agreements
• Providing legal advisory support to business functions on day-to-day matters
• Assisting in compliance with applicable laws including Insecticides Act/Rules, FCO, Legal Metrology, Labour Codes, DPDPA, and other sectoral regulations
• Supporting policy drafting, SOP development, and internal governance processes

Legal Counsel

• Provides technical sales support for UPL Ag Division products within Iowa and surrounding Corn Belt areas in the U.S.
• Partners closely with the sales team to drive demand, support product positioning, and improve customer satisfaction
• Works with key influencers including researchers, consultants, universities, growers, and distributor technical staff to establish research and demonstration trials that support product performance, stewardship, and new product introductions
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with distributors and retailers; evaluates compatibility of distributor proprietary products with UPL offerings
• Gathers, analyzes, and communicates competitive intelligence and market trends
• Trains sales teams, distribution partners, and customers through virtual and in-person presentations

• Ability to verify the invoices comply with Standard policies and procedures
• Responsible Processing prepayments and follow up on prepaid invoices
• Ability to Handle statements and vendor inquiries including vendor reconciliations
• Assisting with the resolution of discrepancies or problems that prohibit timely processing of invoices in the system.
