About the role
- Full-stack development of UpGuard’s website, focusing on front-end interfaces and back-end systems (largely leveraging Netlify)
- Build robust, high-performing web experiences and interactive tools
- Contribute to tech stack evolution, including implementation of modern frameworks like Astro
- Translate design concepts and UX flows into pixel-perfect, highly functional web interfaces
- Work closely with cross-functional web team: designers, content strategists, and SEO specialists
- Optimise and maintain CMS-driven content and regionalised content/features (i18n)
- Implement CI/CD, cloud integrations, and ensure code quality and best practices
- Participate in analytics/A-B testing implementations and performance optimisation
Requirements
- Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full Stack Web Developer with a strong portfolio, ideally within a SaaS environment
- Proven experience (6+ years) with a strong portfolio of projects (listed elsewhere in posting)
- Hands-on experience with modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Astro, React, Vue, Svelte)
- Some experience with back-end languages/frameworks (e.g., Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP)
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service or cloud platforms (e.g., Netlify, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience working with and optimising Content Management Systems (CMS)
- Strong ability to translate design mockups and UX flows into pixel-perfect, functional web interfaces
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams
- Commitment to writing clean, well-documented, maintainable code and following best practices
- Familiarity with database design, Jamstack architecture, internationalisation (i18n), content translation, and regionalised product offerings
- Understanding of web analytics and A/B testing implementation
- Self-starter attitude with ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working in cybersecurity or a related technical B2B field (desirable)
- Candidates must be able to pass a national police history check and reference checks
