About the role

  • Build robust and high-performing web experiences across front-end and back-end systems, largely leveraging Netlify
  • Translate design concepts into functional realities working with designers, content strategists, and SEO specialists
  • Develop interactive tools and implement modern frameworks like Astro
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional web team including designers, content strategists, and SEO specialists
  • Contribute to tech stack evolution and implement best practices for code quality and performance
  • Optimise and maintain CMS-based sites
  • Work on Jamstack architecture and CI/CD pipelines (where applicable)

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) as a Full Stack Web Developer with a strong portfolio of projects, ideally within a SaaS environment
  • Comprehensive understanding and hands-on experience with modern web technologies, including front-end frameworks (Astro, React, Vue, Svelte)
  • Some experience with back-end languages/frameworks (Node.js, Python, Ruby, PHP)
  • Experience working with and optimising various Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Strong ability to translate design mockups and UX flows into pixel-perfect and highly functional web interfaces
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team
  • Commitment to writing clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to industry best practices
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-a-Service platforms or cloud platforms (Netlify, AWS) and CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
  • Familiarity with database design (preferred)
  • Experience with Jamstack architecture (preferred)
  • Experience with internationalisation (i18n), content translation, and regionalised product offerings (preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience or a strong passion for developing with Astro (preferred)
  • Understanding of web analytics and A/B testing implementation (preferred)
  • Experience working in cybersecurity or a related technical B2B field (preferred)
  • Must be able to undertake a national police history check and reference checks
