💰 £34,610 - £39,906 per year
About the role
- Provide specialist administrative support and guidance for the School's research activities
- Support academic staff to submit larger research grant applications
- Post-award administration and support for a portfolio of complex research grants
- Lead on support for knowledge exchange and impact, the Research Excellence Framework and open research
- Full-time (35 hours per week); open to flexible working patterns and hybrid working (non-contractual)
Requirements
- Previous experience of supporting and developing research grant applications, post-award administration and budget management and monitoring
- Proven high quality communication, liaison, presentation and relationship building skills, with evidence of the ability to persuade and negotiate
- A commitment to accuracy and high attention to detail, particularly in maintaining financial-related data
- Highly developed time management skills, with experience of dealing with conflicting demands and prioritising workload in a fast-paced environment. Ability to sustain a high level of performance under pressure
- Experience of working in a similar or supporting role for application development, post-award support, REF and KEI
- Right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship available)
