About the role
- Conduct sales calls via telephone, Microsoft Teams, or Video Chat
- Establish and develop customer relationships by evaluating needs and opportunities
- Develop a business plan to achieve sales goals and objectives
- Maintain knowledge of products, services, competitive activity
- Co-ordinate with Purchasing department to ensure availability of product
- Collaborate with sales team members to share best practices
- Document all account activity in the CRM system (Salesforce.com)
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Engineering or Business
- 1+ years of sales experience
- Excellent computer skills including MS Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint
- Proficiency with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.com
- Ability to handle time and resources efficiently
- Excellent problem solving and consultative selling skills
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Strong business acumen with understanding of manufacturers, distributors and end-users
