About the role
- Identify supplier cost changes
- Follow the Mass Quote Update process
- Document Product Manager approval
- Record the Mass Quote Update event
- Identify and record cost or cost ‑ change information
- Perform detailed analysis to ensure accuracy
- Maintain the Certificate of Insurance (COI) repository
- Review COIs for accuracy and distribute to internal stakeholders
Requirements
- College degree in related field or 5+ years of business experience
- Broad chemical distribution company experience
- In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft suite products
- Strong Univar systems knowledge-SAP, Business Warehouse, Tableau, Access, SharePoint, and OneNote
- Advanced Industry, product and supplier knowledge required
- Solid understanding of cost strategies and margin management effectiveness
- Experience in product costing, unit of measure conversions, supply chain strategies
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Ability to manage priorities and take on new tasks with a positive attitude
