About the role
- Manage and grow a portfolio of institutional donors (government, corporate, and foundations)
- Lead proposal and report writing, budget development, and donor stewardship
- Prospect and research new funding opportunities
- Partner with internal teams to deliver on grant requirements and reporting
- Track deliverables, deadlines, and progress in Salesforce
- Collaborate closely with Development, Finance, Marketing, and Community Impact teams to ensure timely, accurate proposals and reports
Requirements
- 4–7+ years nonprofit grant writing and donor management experience
- Exceptional writing, communication, and project management skills
- Proven success building and stewarding funder relationships
- Experience with Salesforce (preferred) and strong digital literacy
- Commitment to UWBA’s values of equity, inclusion, and community impact
- Willing and able to travel throughout the Bay Area for meetings and events, including occasional evening and weekend engagements
