About the role

  • Establish/maintain relationships with municipalities, consulting engineers, and local general contractors.
  • Promote sales and solutions represented by MISCOwater throughout Northern California.
  • Develop marketing strategies and exhibit at local trade shows.
  • Optimize territory’s sales potential through various technologies and solutions.
  • Meet with consultants, treatment plant-level personnel, and contractors for in-person consultation and problem-solving.

Requirements

  • We are seeking a seasoned Outside Sales Professional with proven experience in the water and wastewater industry.
  • The ideal candidate brings established industry knowledge, strong customer relationships, and a successful track record managing a sales territory.
  • Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written.
  • Valid US Driver License.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field or military experience with 4 years professional experience.
  • The ability to travel overnight is up to 20%.
  • Great organizational and relationship skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft 365 and familiar with CRM systems. We use QuickBase.
  • MISCOwater is open to assist with relocation expenses if needed.
