About the role
- Troubleshoot customer business processing issues and find root causes
- Use structured approach, tools and processes for problem solving
- Work across infrastructure, virtualization, operating systems, and application stack
- Learn and apply skills in Azure, DevOps, and troubleshooting
- Be mentored by Cloud Ops experts and develop as Cloud Ops professional
- Potentially undergo security clearance and background checks for customer projects
Requirements
- Experience in Windows OS
- Experience in Active Directory
- Experience in SQL Server
- Experience in PowerShell
- Database Design & Architecture: Schema design, normalization/denormalization, data partitioning and sharding strategies
- Performance Optimization: Query tuning and indexing
- Experience with database monitoring tools and proactive alerting
- Experience with PostgreSQL is an advantage
- Good knowledge of MS Windows Server monitoring and maintenance
- Experience with automation and scripting tools such as PowerShell, JSON, or other scripting languages
- Knowledge of network infrastructure
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure platform is an advantage
- Knowledge of SQL Server is an advantage
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Willingness to learn and resourcefulness
