Consultant

• Integrate the concept notes developed by the three clusters into a coherent, coordinated, and financeable portfolio, aligned with national frameworks and with the requirements of identified downstream financiers, over the twelve-month grant period.

Senior Consultant – Integration and Development of Water Sector Concept Notes

Data Analyst

• Generate policy-relevant analytical outputs on learning quality and equity using AMPL datasets, working together with country teams as co-authors.
• Strengthen national capacity to independently apply advanced statistical methods to learning assessment data in selected countries.
• Implement a six-month phased programme combining structured training, hands-on application and technical mentoring, centred on two in-person workshops.
• Assess the availability and readiness of AMPL datasets and develop a common analytical framework addressing key policy questions on learning outcomes, equity and school/system-level effects.
• Prepare training materials covering advanced statistical methods supported by practical tools such as annotated code and replicable templates.

Consultant, Advanced Analysis of Learning Assessment Data

• Contribute to drafting technical and financial proposals.
• Support the implementation of project activities, through preparation of Terms of Reference, coordination with consultants, quality assurance support, and logistical coordination.
• Develop pedagogical tools and technical resources to support curriculum reform processes.
• Prepare communication materials related to the Haiti curriculum reform, including drafting various content (articles, blog posts, briefs, etc.) to document project progress, highlight key initiatives, and foster stakeholder engagement.
• Monitor and report on project implementation and results.
• Collect and analyze data, lessons learned, and good practices.
• Maintain project documentation and knowledge management resources.

Curricular Reform Consultant

• Under the authority of the Head of Office and the supervision of the Technical Cooperation Chief of the IIPE-UNESCO Africa Office, the consultant will contribute to several major projects.
• SUPPORT TO THE ANALYSIS OF RESOURCE ALLOCATION MECHANISMS.
• Contribute to the development of the study protocol, including the methodological approach.
• Support the processing of multiple database series and perform statistical and econometric analyses for diagnosing current practices and evaluating the effects of allocation strategies.
• Support the drafting of the study report, including identification of allocation options for central and decentralized levels.
• SUPPORT TO THE ANALYSIS OF THE EFFECTS OF DECENTRALIZED TEACHER MANAGEMENT.
• Support the statistical and, where applicable, institutional analysis of the effects of decentralization on resource efficiency, the quality of teacher management, and equity in teacher distribution, including gender dimensions.

• Review the E-rahenan source code and current architecture

• Provide technical expertise to support the operationalization and implementation of UNESCO’s components under the GEF/FAO project.
• Support the consolidation of contributions into a comprehensive and high-quality final TDA report.
• Develop concept notes, agendas/programmes, and summary reports for technical coordination meetings and workshops.

Individual Consultant – Water Cooperation and Groundwater

Graphics Designer

• Design and layout of the United Nations World Water Development Reports (UN WWDR) UN WWDR 2026 (approx. 200 Pages): Prepare and revise the layout proofs of the Spanish version of the UN WWDR 2026 based on the existing template.
• Finalize the print-ready file incorporating comments from WWAP and partners.
• Develop initial internal design proposals for the UN WWDR 2027 in line with the report cover, WWAP’s visual identity and strategic goals.
• Prepare layout proofs and finalize the print-ready file of: Main report (English and French versions; approx. 200 pages each) Executive Summary and Facts & Figures (English, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese; approx. 12–20 pages each)
• Redraw and vectorize figures and tables for clarity and publication-readiness.
• Create and deliver source layout templates (InDesign files or equivalent) to enable translations and adaptations.
• Design and layout of other UNESCO WWAP publications. Design and layout of the publication “Evaluación de los ecosistemas acuáticos con perspectiva de inclusión social e igualdad en la cuenca del río Amazonas”(approx. 200 pages): Visual concepts, layout proofs, and finalized version.
