About the role
- Ensure the store is stocked and easy to shop
- Implement our visual merchandising standards in the store
- Oversee markdowns and re-tagging, stock transfers and damaged goods
- Coach, train and support teammates in handling merchandise
- Oversee loss prevention and safety, and compare expectations against results
- Ensure supplies are sufficient to maintain an efficient stockroom environment and keep it consistently organized (including all merchandise) inside and near the stockroom
- Execute store operations with an emphasis on the flow of product to and from the sales floor
- Maximize sales opportunities and communicate merchandising opportunities to store management
- Embrace UA’s service culture and exceed customer expectations in accordance with UA’s sales model
- Meet brand productivity standards related to processing shipments, replenishment, markdowns and merchandising using company tools and resources
- Follow PNE and the retail operations manual
- Assume the responsibilities of the Sales Key Holder in their absence in-store
- Assist, when required, with store operations (cashiering/labeling)
- Collaborate with teammates to achieve store goals
- Be responsible for your own development while seizing growth opportunities to improve performance
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of experience in retail/stock or freight
- Available to work a variable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Fluency in the local language required; basic English is an asset
- Basic math, reading, listening and communication skills
- Knowledge of inventory management, risk management and security
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines
- Comfortable with technology or willing to learn to use it (computers and handheld devices, for example)
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and lift boxes up to 12 kg (25 lb) during each shift with or without accommodation
