About the role

  • Serve as primary operational support resource for the TSYS Loyalty Platform (TLP)
  • Support loyalty program research, monitoring, ticket inquiries and projects
  • Monitor daily platform activity to ensure transaction accuracy, data integrity, and system performance
  • Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolution with TSYS and internal technology partners
  • Perform testing and validation for system enhancements, configuration changes, and vendor releases
  • Maintain platform documentation, workflows, and operational procedures
  • Support implementation of new loyalty programs, product enhancements, and platform updates
  • Execute monthly First Line of Defense (FLOD) control testing in accordance with risk and compliance requirements
  • Perform assigned operational control procedures and validate adherence to policies and regulatory standards
  • Document testing results, evidence, and remediation actions
  • Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process deficiencies and escalate appropriately
  • Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews by providing documentation and operational insights
  • Analyze operational data, reports, and trends to identify performance issues and improvement opportunities
  • Develop operational reporting and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders
  • Provide support services and administration of the UMB debit and credit card programs including but not limited to loyalty programs, terms and pricing, card features/benefits, payment processing, etc.
  • Participate in cross-functional projects related to platform migrations, enhancements, and operational improvements
  • Perform root cause analysis on platform and operational issues and assist with corrective action planning
  • Serve as liaison between business teams, technology partners, vendors, and risk stakeholders
  • Communicate operational issues, platform updates, and control findings clearly and professionally
  • Support internal training and knowledge sharing related to TLP platform processes and controls

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field OR equivalent work experience
  • At least 5 years of experience in financial services operations, card operation, or platform support specifically with TSYS
  • Strong understanding of card operations and transaction processing systems
  • Experience in banking and/or card payments
  • Working knowledge of operational risk management and control frameworks
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
  • High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
