About the role
- Serve as primary operational support resource for the TSYS Loyalty Platform (TLP)
- Support loyalty program research, monitoring, ticket inquiries and projects
- Monitor daily platform activity to ensure transaction accuracy, data integrity, and system performance
- Troubleshoot platform issues and coordinate resolution with TSYS and internal technology partners
- Perform testing and validation for system enhancements, configuration changes, and vendor releases
- Maintain platform documentation, workflows, and operational procedures
- Support implementation of new loyalty programs, product enhancements, and platform updates
- Execute monthly First Line of Defense (FLOD) control testing in accordance with risk and compliance requirements
- Perform assigned operational control procedures and validate adherence to policies and regulatory standards
- Document testing results, evidence, and remediation actions
- Identify operational risks, control gaps, and process deficiencies and escalate appropriately
- Support regulatory exams, audits, and internal reviews by providing documentation and operational insights
- Analyze operational data, reports, and trends to identify performance issues and improvement opportunities
- Develop operational reporting and dashboards for leadership and stakeholders
- Provide support services and administration of the UMB debit and credit card programs including but not limited to loyalty programs, terms and pricing, card features/benefits, payment processing, etc.
- Participate in cross-functional projects related to platform migrations, enhancements, and operational improvements
- Perform root cause analysis on platform and operational issues and assist with corrective action planning
- Serve as liaison between business teams, technology partners, vendors, and risk stakeholders
- Communicate operational issues, platform updates, and control findings clearly and professionally
- Support internal training and knowledge sharing related to TLP platform processes and controls
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems or related field OR equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in financial services operations, card operation, or platform support specifically with TSYS
- Strong understanding of card operations and transaction processing systems
- Experience in banking and/or card payments
- Working knowledge of operational risk management and control frameworks
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- High attention to detail with strong documentation and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced operational environment
