About the role
- Responsible for prospecting new customers and maintaining and growing existing government customers
- Work directly with and mentor 80+ dental field sales consultants
- Develop a strategy for the region to grow the government business
- Manage bids, proposals, and potential RFP’s
- Build relationships with appropriate personnel within these government accounts
- Provide technical support and hands-on training with dental products
Requirements
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
- Demonstrated success as a current salesperson
- Proficient negotiating skills
- Proficient in the whole Microsoft suite
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Enthusiastic, positive, and able to motivate others
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities
- Critical thinker who is solution-driven
- Strong Presentation Skills
- Relationship-selling solid skills
- Outside, direct sales experience in a monthly quota-based environment
- Dental sales experience strongly preferred
