About the role
- Leads the creation, implementation, and evaluation of annual donor communications, appeals, stewardship, and events to grow the overall donor and elevate annual giving to help achieve fundraising goals.
- Inspires greater support from the PPNCS donors at all levels by creating and facilitating stewardship programs and impact reporting for major, principal, and transformational level donors.
- Supervises Donor Engagement, Annual Giving, Stewardship, and Events staff and fosters a collaborative, integrated team environment.
- Leads the development of innovative donor engagement strategies that create a cohesive and compelling journey to secure gift upgrades, improve retention, and maximize lifetime giving.
- Drives annual planning for donor experience programs and works collaboratively with Communications staff to ensure all donor-facing messaging is donor-centric, aligns with the organization’s brand, and integrates strategic Foundation messaging.
- Oversees production of donor communications using a multi-channel approach including direct mail, email and digital.
- Measures, monitors, and reports on key performance indicators, analyzes organizational giving trends, and collaborates across the Foundation to drive innovation in donor experience programs.
- Contributes to the Foundation’s planning process, guiding development of goals and initiatives and delivery of measurable outcomes that advance the department and support the organization’s strategic initiatives.
Requirements
- 5 years of fundraising experience with demonstrated experience in annual giving, events, and/or donor engagement and stewardship programs
- 2 years of supervisory experience
- Strong writer and experience with fundraising communications
- Strong support for the mission and goals of Planned Parenthood is essential.
