About the role

  • Accountable to achieve fundraising targets
  • Engage in face-to-face meetings with prospects and donors
  • Curate and manage a donor portfolio of high-net-worth donors
  • Identify new prospects who are non-donors
  • Produce a range of research information products and reports
  • Proactively identify prospective major donors
  • Review lists of prospects and provide input and analysis
  • Support accurate data maintenance and strategic tracking
  • Draft biographical, financial and philanthropic profiles
  • Plan and organize prospecting events and follow-up processes

Requirements

  • Relevant Education or equivalent experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Experience researching prospects and donors on social media and conventional media
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Knowledge of Salesforce
  • Proactive with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
