About the role
- Accountable to achieve fundraising targets
- Engage in face-to-face meetings with prospects and donors
- Curate and manage a donor portfolio of high-net-worth donors
- Identify new prospects who are non-donors
- Produce a range of research information products and reports
- Proactively identify prospective major donors
- Review lists of prospects and provide input and analysis
- Support accurate data maintenance and strategic tracking
- Draft biographical, financial and philanthropic profiles
- Plan and organize prospecting events and follow-up processes
Requirements
- Relevant Education or equivalent experience
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Experience researching prospects and donors on social media and conventional media
- Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities
- Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Proactive with excellent organizational skills
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and analytical capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain a high degree of discretion and confidentiality
