About the role

  • Drive the sale of assigned bank products and services within the La Palma, CA market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and banking partners
  • Identify opportunities for growth and deliver tailored financial solutions
  • Work independently to meet revenue, volume, and market share objectives
  • Stay informed about market trends and competitor activity to maintain a competitive edge
  • Engage directly with clients, including in-person meetings 3–4 days per week
  • Provide culturally relevant financial guidance and support to Korean-speaking clients and partners
  • Collaborate with banking partners and internal teams as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of relevant sales experience
  • Bilingual, English and Korean
  • Thorough knowledge of sales and sales strategies
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated new business development and relationship management skills
  • Effective customer service/relations skills
  • Thorough knowledge of banking products/services, banking operations, and current market trends
  • Ability to make important decisions independently
  • Strong in-person presence in the La Palma, CA area; attend in-person meetings 3–4 days per week
  • Willingness/ability to undergo background checks and comply with E-Verify and other regulatory requirements (FINRA, NMLS, OFAC, Bank Secrecy Act, SAFE Act, etc.)
  • Ability to comply with U.S. Bank policies, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct
