Prospecting and running Heartland Point of Sale presentations in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses
Close deals within a fast sales cycle and achieve quota
Explain value proposition and demonstrate cloud based Point of Sale solution
Upsell current clients on other Heartland products and services
Maintain regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager and report to a District Manager
Set appointments with business owners via network and referral partnerships
Run scheduled appointments, uncover needs, and present Heartland Point of Sale solutions to close sales
During training, be accompanied by District Manager for on-the-job coaching
Use CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce for lead generation, sales presentations, client financial analysis, and paperless contract processing
Maintain existing/prospective client records in CRM (Atlas) including call notes and scheduled interactions
Attend weekly team meeting and weekly one-on-one with leader
Continuously build knowledge of product/service portfolio and fintech industry developments
Requirements
18 years of age or older
This position requires regular driving to visit client sites; valid drivers license is necessary
In accordance with state law, a background check will be conducted after a conditional offer of employment
Completion of mandatory drug screening on or near 60th day of employment
Live in area relative to job posting location
Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
High school diploma/GED (preferred)
At least two years of relevant experience (preferred)
Excellent prospecting, communication, presentation, and networking skills
Works well independently and as part of a team
Experience with CRM platforms Atlas and Salesforce
Knowledge of Restaurant and/or Retail industry is a plus

Base Salary: $40,000
